Sales Director - New England

ElectriComm, Inc., a well-established Manufacturers’ Rep Organization serving the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region, is looking for a highly motivated sales management professional to grow with our firm. ElectriComm sells High Voltage Electrical Equipment to the Power Industry and Large Power Consumers. Our product lines are focused on all aspects of the electric power industry including the Substation, Generation, Transmission and Distribution Departments. Over the past three years ElectriComm has experienced tremendous growth making it necessary to employ additional personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping manage both Inside and Outside Sales. They will also have their own individual account responsibilities for the New England region.

Our product lines cover a broad range of Substation and Transmission apparatus including Power Transformers, Substation Parts & Services, Power Meters, Protective Relays, Insulators, Test Equipment and SCADA/Communications Equipment.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent organizational and communications skills and be willing to travel. The candidate must be proficient with Sales Management including report generation, database management and opportunity tracking. Follow-up and response to inquiries by the sales team must be completed in a timely and effective fashion. Technical sales experience and a technical degree or equivalent on the job experience is a plus.

Job responsibilities related to the Sales Director position also include account management. Customers include electric utilities, Genco’s, large industrials, transit, municipalities, coops and disstributors that service this market. Positioning the company to be a preferred supplier is the ultimate goal. Managing territory accounts, being aware of sales opportunities and closing sales is of utmost importance for this position.
